Progress Update: M25 Junction 28 Upgrade

We’re proud to see the continued development of the M25 Junction 28 - where over 5000m³ of Leca® LWA (Lightweight Aggregate) was specified in early 2025 as part of this National Highways upgrade.

Leca® LWA played a key innovative role in minimising settlement and reducing load around culvert extensions and complex bridge works.

Jonathan Graham, Engineering Manager at GRAHAM, noted:

“Leca® LWA was chosen for its lightweight properties and ease of placement — helping maintain acceptable settlement levels while meeting National Highways’ design criteria.”
