Introducing Ilona Miszczak – Leca’s New CEO

We’re proud to welcome Ilona Miszczak as the new Chief Executive Officer of Leca, effective June 1st. Ilona brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the building materials industry, including 15 years at Saint-Gobain Glass, where she played a pivotal role in shaping market strategy and driving specification-led sales across Europe.

Her career has been defined by a deep focus on sustainable growth, customer-centric innovation, and practical transformation—values that align closely with Leca’s vision for the future.

What drew Ilona to Leca?

The answer is threefold: our strong industrial legacy, our proactive stance on CO₂ reduction, and our commitment to nature-based materials like Filtralite. But above all, she was struck by the energy, expertise, and dedication of the Leca team. In her words: “There’s a unique spirit here—collaborative, skilled, and genuinely passionate about what we do. I already feel like I belong.”

As CEO, Ilona is committed to being present, accessible, and hands-on. Her first priority is to listen and learn from teams across the business—from production sites to R&D to customer engagement. She’s eager to work side by side with colleagues to accelerate innovation, strengthen our market position, and unlock new value for customers.
